I thought it was a little smaller than it looked online, but it fitted all my desserts. I layered the desserts so that each tier held a different dessert and placed fresh roses in between the desserts. It looked so pretty - I wasn't expecting the tier to look this good because it is not glass, but it worked really well. It was easy to transport too because all the tiers pull apart - something I didn't know when I looked at this online. So it was easy to push all the tiers together when I was ready to set up my display, and it is easy to store since it stacks neatly into itself once it is disassembled. This also means you can choose to have 2, 3 or 4 tiers. Also the tiers were very sturdy, unlike some tiers that topple easily, this one is quite rigid. The only thing I wasn't happy about and didn't see in any of the reviews that I read was that each platform/layer is slightly slopped downward so the cupcakes weren't very secure on the stand which is the reason several cupcakes fell off. No big deal just a slight concern of mine. Still happy I purchased though. We used it for cupcakes for my son's baptism and 1st birthday party and several people asked me where I'd purchased it. I've also used it to display fruit and it was a huge hit. I love that when not in use, it can be broken down and stored with ease. Doesn't take up any room at all. Love it! |
